So here we are day 5 of Partnership to Success. What a ride. Today I learned about GDPR compliance.
In a nutshell, GDPR is some rules that the EU (European Union) put into place asking websites to make sure a popup starts on the screen which shows that you use cookies, and shows the privacy policy of your site as well as other policies on your site.
In this set of videos, I was introduced to one privacy policy plugin called Instapage, by a young gentleman named Leonardus C.
Randy Smiths also has a site that allows you to put embed code into your WordPress site that allows a popup on the page that encourages people so say I accept the policies.
Both Randy's site and Leonardus C Privacy plugin are something you will need to invest in. 
Look you might think to yourself “Man more things to pay for”. That is not the way to look at it. Instead consider the thousands of dollars it will cost to get a solicitor to write all of this for you, the small amount of money you spend to buy these two items will save you thousands of dollars in both fines and legal costs. It is worth it in the end.
Considering the fines involved can cost so much money it is worth spending a few bucks on these tools.
Look you would never see a tradesman without his or her tools, would you? Now I work in a hardware store here in Australia and I deal with a lot of tradespeople and I can guarantee they spend a small fortune on good tools. It is worth it. Better quality tools last longer as well as they are better designed for the job at hand, in a tougher environment. In the end, they save you money.
This is the same for internet tools: without the right tools at your disposal, you will struggle to do what is needed to get the job done properly, and it will cost you more in money and time.
In day 5 of Partnership to Success, Alex Thornhill John's son introduced us to Pexels a free image site that is used to add images into your blog post. You can also use Unsplash for your images too.
Both sites are excellent to get your hands on royalty-free images that will cost you nothing to download.
